During my time as a Senior Creative at Cube Creative Ltd, I had the privilege of being entrusted with a significant website design project for Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS.

This endeavor involved creating a user-friendly and accessible website that catered to the needs of patients, groups, staff, and accessibility ambassadors. Throughout the project, I was actively involved in every stage, from conducting focus groups to shaping the design and functionality of the website.

To ensure the website met the diverse needs of its users, I participated in focus groups with patients, groups, staff members, and accessibility ambassadors. These valuable interactions allowed me to gather firsthand insights into their preferences, expectations, and requirements for the website. By engaging in open and constructive dialogue, I was able to understand their perspectives, challenges, and desired functionalities, which significantly influenced the design and development process.

The information gathered from the focus groups played a pivotal role in shaping the design and functionality of the website. Armed with a deep understanding of the users’ needs, I embarked on the task of creating a visually appealing and intuitive interface that would prioritise accessibility, ease of navigation, and clear communication of vital information. Through meticulous attention to detail, I developed a design that not only met the diverse accessibility requirements but also reflected the trusted and caring nature of Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS.

Moreover, the insights gained from the focus groups informed the entire design process. From selecting appropriate color schemes and typography to organising content and optimising user flow, every decision was rooted in the feedback and preferences of the users. By incorporating their valuable input, I ensured that the website resonated with its target audience and provided an enhanced user experience.

Being involved in the entire process, from conducting focus groups with patients, groups, staff, and accessibility ambassadors to shaping the design and functionality of the website, was an invaluable experience. It allowed me to bridge the gap between user expectations and design solutions, resulting in a website that successfully met the needs of all stakeholders involved.
